Could a private person or company buy the Hubble Telescope after it’s decommissioned & keep it working?

Would whatever entity that controls the Hubble Space Telescope be willing to turn over control of it after it’s decommissioned? Could it be turned into a simpler, cheaper to run space telescope? Or recommissioned for other astronomical work, like looking for near earth objects or something?
