Usually Venus and Mars can be spotted at sunrise and sunset.

Planets don’t twinkle like stars and they are brighter (at least the close ones). If it’s blue, it’s probably Venus. If it’s red, it’s probably mars.

You can also see Mercury and Jupiter, but unless you know exactly where to look, it’s very unlikely you will.
