The Bible

The Bible is unique in it’s preparation, circulation, translation, and preservation. The Bible is by far the most published book in the world. It was the first book ever printed on a printing press and has dominated the presses ever since. It was written over a period of 1,500 years by a great variety of men who were inspired of God. Also it has been translated into over 1000 foreign languages which are spoken by well over 90% of the world’s population. By the year of 2016, there is a real possibility that it will be so in all known languages.

We all know that archaeology has independently confirmed the historical accuracy of the scriptures. And not only have nearly all of the locations and traditions that are mentioned in the Bible been confirmed by field workers in the Middle East and researchers that study ancient histories, but specific events cited have often been shown to match in great detail. Associates for Biblical Research has extensively excavated Jericho. One of the interesting features about this city is that the walls appear to have fallen outward. While an invading army would typically ram the walls inward upon the debris, the Bible declares that God caused the walls to fall flat, so that the Israelites could go straight in. Skeptics once believed that the book of Daniel was in error when it discussed Belshazzar ruling Babylon. The dynasties were revealed on cuneiform tablets excavated from ancient Babylon and Belshazzar did not appear on the list. Yet Unger’s Bible Dictionary tells how a later find revealed that the sovereign, Nabonidus, traveled extensively and in his absence left his son Belshazzar to rule as co-regent. That’s why, in seeking to offer the ultimate reward to anyone who could interpret the mysterious message of doom, Belshazzar offered the position of “third in the kingdom” (Daniel 5:7). He could do no more since he was only second himself. Sir William Ramsey is regarded as one of the greatest archaeologists ever to have lived. Skeptical of the authorship and accuracy of the gospels and Acts, Ramsey set out to investigate. Yet he concluded after 30 years of study that “Luke is a historian of the first rank; not merely are his statements of fact trustworthy, this author should be placed along with the very greatest of historians.” (Ramsey, W.M., The Bearing of Recent Discovery on the Trustworthiness of the New Testament, 1953, page 222.)

Is the bible worth of your consideration in scientific matters? Of course. And here listed below are the biblical facts. Evolution of Creationism both are a matter of belief. The fact is that Evolutionists have far more faith in their system of accidental assembly, than those who believe that God created all things in a orderly fashion.

The fact is the Bible is scientifically accurate. There has never been an irreconcilable discrepancy between scientific facts or laws and the scriptures. And the following facts are the proofs:

* Jeremiah 33:22 claims that the stars of the heaven are innumerable. Hippocrates, before the invention of the telescope charted and numbered 1,022 stars. Kepler later recounted and revised the number. Today scientists agree with Jeremiah. There are billions just in our galaxy! It’s interesting that the Bible makes the number of stars roughly equivalent to the number of grains of sand on the seashore (Genesis 22:17; Hebrews 11:12). Carl Sagan also compared these two, leaning towards the number of stars being greater. Amazingly, the latest estimates of the gross number of sand grains are comparable to the modern estimated number of stars in the universe!

* Judges 5:20 mentions “the stars in their courses.” While it was once believed that the stars were fixed, today we know that they also move in a predictable way.

* Job 38:19 is accurate in the way it characterizes light. Note that darkness is in a place but light is in a way. It travels a path.

* Job 38:24 indicates the light of the sun (Via heating.) makes the wind.

* In Genesis 1:1 and Hebrews 1:10-12 the Bible is unequivocal that the universe had a beginning. When the Bible was written many people believed the universe was eternal. Starting with the studies of Albert Einstein in the early 1900’s and continuing still today, science has confirmed the biblical view that the universe had a beginning.

* The universe is always expanding (Job 9:8; Isaiah 42:5; Jeremiah 51:15; Zechariah 12:1). Repeatedly God declares that he stretches out the heavens. During the early 20th century, most scientists (including Einstein) believed the universe was static. Others believed it oscillated and would eventually collapsed due to gravity. Then in 1929, astronomer Edwin Hubble showed that distant galaxies were receding from the earth. This discovery revolutionized the field of astronomy. Einstein admitted his mistake, and today most astronomers agree with what the Creator told us a millennium ago that the universe is expanding!

* Job 36:27 asks how the rain drops stay small (That is despite or even in strong wind)? One of the reasons is found in Psalm 135:5-7. Because of the electrical charges in the clouds, the rain drops repel each other as they fall. This is why electrical static during a rain or snow storm can interrupt transmissions.

* Ezekiel 5:5, 38:12 claimed that Jerusalem is the center of the earth. ICR commissioned a computer analysis of the earth’s land-masses and discovered that the geographic center is in Palestine, near the holy city.

*Psalm 103:12 The Psalmist seeks to describe how far away God has removed the sins of those who have been forgiven. Interestingly, one can go west or east forever, unlike north and south.

* Hebrews 1:11-12 describes the wearing down of the creation in language that nicely mirrors the second law of thermodynamics and II Peter 3:12 describes the heavens one day passing away in a fire that causes the elements to melt in fervent heat (a pretty accurate description of nuclear meltdown).

* Ecclesiastes 1:4-7 describes the whirling motion of the winds and the movement of storm fronts long before the advent of modern meteorology.

* Job 37:16 also gives significant meteorological information, including the balancing of the vapors in the clouds. Job 36:27 adds that the quantity of the rain is proportional to the amount of vapor aloft.

* Job 26:7 The ancients Greeks believed that the world was held up by Atlas. Other civilizations held similar ideas. The Bible made an unusual claim: God did not hang the world on anything.

* Psalm 8:8 discusses the “paths of the seas.” The story is told that when the man we call “the Father of Oceanography,” Matthew Fontain Maury, read Psalm 8 the aforementioned phrase stuck in his mind. He later sought to confirm the idea and eventually wrote The Physical Geography of the Sea in1855. It was the first textbook on modern oceanography. The state of Virginia erected a memorial to him that cites this passage.

* Isaiah 40:22 Some have claimed that the Bible supports the “flat earth theory.” But this passage declares that God sits upon the “circle of the earth.”

* Job 38:13-14 conveys the idea of the earth rotating on its axis: “the earth…is turned as clay to the seal.”

* In Luke 17:34-36 the worldwide event of Christ’s return is being discussed. The scientifically significant fact is that these verses allude to the different time zones around the globe long before the earth’s rotation was understood by scientists. Note that when Christ comes, some will be enjoying nighttime sleep while others are grinding in preparation for the day’s baking (typically morning) and others are working in the field (typically afternoon).

* One of the directors of Standard Oil Company read in Exodus 2:3 how Moses was placed in an ark “daubed with slime and pitch.” He then sent the company geologist Charles Whitshott to determine if there was still oil in that region. The discovery of oil led to Standard having great success well operations in Egypt. (Tan, Paul L., Encyclopedia of 7700 Illustrations, p. 191.)

* The practice of medical bleeding as a treatment (often with leeches) was common until the middle of the 19th century. Historians believe that George Washington’s bleeding caused his death. (Thayer, William R., George Washington, 1922, p. 240) Ironically, by his bedside was a Bible that stated in Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood.”

* Linguists have determined that all the earth’s peoples must have originally shared a common language. That is exactly what the Bible declared in Genesis 11:1.

* The concept of embodied in the laws of thermodynamics: the constant of the universe’s mass/energy and the universal tendency towards decay and disorder are clearly articulated in Ecclesiastes 3:14 and Romans 8:21-22.

* Jonah wrote that there are mountains on the bottom of the ocean floor (Jonah 2:5-6). Only in the last century have we discovered that there are towering mountains and deep troughs in the sea.

* In Job 38:16 God challenged Job to find the “springs of the sea.” But the ocean is so deep that almost all the ocean floor is in total darkness and the water pressure becomes enormous. It would have been impossible for Job to have explored the “springs of the sea.” Until recently, it was thought that oceans were fed only by rivers and rain. Yet in the 1970s, with the help of deep diving research submarines that were constructed to withstand the pressure, oceanographers discovered springs on the ocean floors!

* Much of the Old Testament Levitical law is comprised of health-related restrictions involving diet, cleansing, and quarantine. The book “None of These Diseases” and Keller’s work demonstrate the healthfulness of following that advice. Human medicine did not realize this until thousands of years after it was written! For example, the Bible cautions against consuming fat (Leviticus 7:23). Only in recent decades has the medical community determined that fat clogs arteries and contributes to heart disease. In Leviticus 11 the Scripture commanded Jews to avoid sea creatures which do not have fins or scales. We now know that bottom-feeders (those with no scales or fins) tend to consume waste and are more likely to carry disease. Then the Bible warns against eating birds of prey. Scientists now recognize that those birds which eat carrion (putrefying flesh), often spread disease. The Bible prohibited the Israelites from eating swine (Deuteronomy 14:8). Not so long ago, science learned that eating undercooked pork causes an infection of parasites called trichinosis. When dealing with diseases, the instruction was that clothes and body should be washed under running water (Leviticus 15:13). For centuries people ignorantly washed in standing water. Today we recognize the need to wash away germs with fresh water.

* The Bible declares that life begins at conception (Jeremiah 1:5) and God declares that He knew each of us before we were born (Psalm 139:13-15). In Exodus 21:22-23, the biblical penalty for killing an unborn child was death. Today, it is an irrefutable biological fact that the fertilized egg is truly an entire human being. Nothing will be added to the first cell except nutrition and oxygen.

* The Bible commanded circumcision of baby Jewish boys on the eighth day. (See Genesis 17:12; Leviticus 12:3; Luke 1:59). Medical science has discovered that the blood clotting chemical prothrombin peaks in a newborn on the eighth day. This is therefore the safest day to circumcise a baby. Moses did not know this, but God who knows all and created all things certainly did.

* Wise pest-control procedures are given in Leviticus 25:1-24. Modern farmers are still plagued by multiplying insects. Yet God gave a sure remedy to control these pests centuries ago. Moses commanded Israel to set aside one year in seven when no crops were raised. Insects winter in the stalks of last year’s harvest, hatch in the spring, and are perpetuated by laying eggs in the new crop. If the crop is denied one year in seven, the pests are controlled and it also promotes soil conservation.

* When Noah was instructed to build the huge barge that would preserve his family and two of each kind of land creature, the Lord specified for him the perfect dimensions for a stable water vessel (Genesis 6:15). Ship builders today are well aware that the ideal dimension for ship stability is to have the length about six times that of the width. And Dr. Werner Gitt demonstrated that the ark had the ideal dimensions to optimize both stability and economy of material. Yet God gave Noah these ideal dimensions over 4,500 years ago.

Recently there have been articles published claiming that the human rib is the only bone that has been shown to grow back. It’s no coincidence that this is the bone God took from Adam. A strong case has even been made that science has flourished to unprecedented levels when in times of strong scriptural beliefs.

The Bible (Job 25:4-6) says that

Man is but a worm.
The son of man is a worm
Is he pure the born of a woman?
How can a man be justified with God?
The moon is not bright, it does not shine
The stars are not pure

—————————————————–

On the other hand, the Noble Quran talk about 1) who is justified with God, 2) is the man worm or what and 3) the great oath of the setting places of the stars (In the verses 53:31 and/or 18:107, the verse 95: 4 and 56:75-76 respectively).

The meaning of verse 53:31

And Unto Allah belonged whatsoever is in the heavens of creation and whatsoever is in the earth of created beings; they are all slaves of Allah.

Allah will reward those who do evil deeds according to that which they have done

And Allah will reward those who do good deeds; those who believe in Allah’s divine Oneness with the best reward, namely, Paradise.

The meaning of verse 18:107

Surely, as for those who believe in and perform righteous deeds shall be the gardens of paradise; they will dwell for their entertainment, in the highest rank of Paradise.

The meaning of verse 95: 4

Verily Allah created man in the best of forms, in the best proportioning of his shape, in the best stature.

The meaning of verses 56:75-76

Nay, I (Allah) swear by the setting-places of the stars!

And indeed it is a tremendous oath, if you know — if you have deep knowledge, you would realize the magnitude of this oath.

—————————————————–

Herein, there are some points,

1) The Bible, in the New Testament mentions the son of man more than 80 times; the son of God in the NT represents the Lord Jesus. In other word, the son of man which is a worm in the Old Testament is the symbol of the Lord Jesus in the NT as for example [Matthew 12:8, For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.]

2) How come then that God (the Lord Jesus as the Christians believe) is a worm?

3) Man and the son of man are not worms. Worms are hermaphrodites; their bodies contain both male and female reproductive organs; also, they are invertebrates. Worms do not have backbones, lungs, teeth, etc. The circulatory system of worms is different than our.

4) Are there pure stars and impure ones? This question is to those who are interested in Astronomy.

5) The Bible says that the stars are not pure in his (God) eyes. In the Quran, Allah says, I swear by the setting-places of the stars! And indeed it is a tremendous oath, if you know; if you have deep knowledge, you would realize the magnitude of this oath.

6) The Quran says that Allah created man in the best of forms, in the best proportioning of his shape, in the best stature.

==============================

The Bible

Job 25:4-6 (American Standard Version)

4 How then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

5 Behold, even the moon hath no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight:

6 How much less man, that is a worm! And the son of man, that is a worm!

—————————————————–

The Quran

Verse 53:31(Shakir translation):

and Allah’s is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, that he may reward those who do evil according to what they do, and (that) he may reward those who do good with goodness

Verse 18:107(Shakir translation):

Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds, their place of entertainment shall be the gardens of paradise,

Verse 95:4 (Shakir translation):

Certainly we created man in the best make

Verses 56:75-76 (Pickthal translation):

75. Nay, I swear by the places (the settings) of the stars -

76. And lo! That verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew –

==============================

Back to my question to the smart and interested reader:

Are the Scholars truthful when they claim that the Quran quoted from the Bible?

6 How much less man, that is a worm! And the son of man, that is a worm!

—————————————————–

In the Bible not in Quran,

The Bible says: There is a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun; the moon was under her feet and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. Scientists say that we could fit more than 1.3 million Earths inside the Sun, and still have room to spare. Consequently, this Biblical woman is 1.3 million times bigger than the Earth. Scientists, also, say that the diameter of the Moon is 3474 km. (2159 miles). Accordingly, the diameter of the feet of this Biblical woman is about 3474 km!

Dragon, a Fantasy half- half man-Made creature

The Dragon is mentioned many times in the Bible. A Dragon is a Mythical creature half snake, half human, half bird, half reptile, half beast, half giant, half dinosaur. Dragon can walk, run, fly, swim and dive. Dragon’s breath is half air and half fire etc. The Dragon is not mentioned therein in the entire Quran.

The Bible says: The dragon pushed one third of the stars out of the sky.

There are about 10 trillion stars in our galaxy (10,000,000,000,000). Hence, the Bible says that the dragon pushed more than three trillion stars (3333333000000) out of the sky! What a mighty dragon!

Also, the Bible says: one third of the stars fell out of the sky on the earth. This means that the Bible declares that more than three trillion (33333330000000) stars fell on the earth!

The mass of the Sun is 333,000 times the mass of the Earth.

The mass of the Sun is 1.98892 Ã kilograms;

If we write out the mass of the Sun, with all the zeros; it will be:

1,988,920,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilograms.

Our sun is not that big, the astronomers say that it is a small star among the stars. The biggest star we know of is called Canis Majoris, and astronomers think it could be 2,100 times the size of the Sun.

The Bible says that a woman put on her head a crown of twelve stars; this means that the woman head bears a weight of twelve times the weight of the Sun i.e. 12X 1.98892 Ã or 12X 333,000 times the mass of the Earth!

It is impossible that the Almighty Creator who created the universe has no idea about what He has created; that is why, it seems likely that the writers of the Bible have no idea about the Astronomy nor have they any idea about the dimensions and the mass of the Sun, Moon, Stars and our Galaxy.

——————————————–

In the Quran not in the Bible,

In the Quran, Allah says:”I call to witness the setting of the Stars and I swear with their positions, and that is indeed a mighty adjuration (great swear) if ye but knew” This means that if we know we would realize the value of Allah’ swear.

Allah Swear with the Stars’ settings and positions that the Quran is His Word.
Also, the Quran says that the sun and the moon are but creatures submitted to Allah, the Almighty Creator; hence, prostrate before Allah and do not prostrate before the sun or the moon

When we look at the night sky we see Stars in different positions depending on the time of night. We also see different groups of Stars depending on the time of year. The reason we see Stars move during the night is because the Earth spins.
The Earth orbits the Sun in one year and in one year you will see many different groups of Stars in the sky. These groups are the constellations. Because the Earth orbits the Sun you will see different constellations, for example, at night in the winter months than in the summer. The Stars themselves exhibit motion relative to each other. Using repeated overlapped CCD scans (up-to-date sophisticated technique); positions for 661,591 Stars have been established, however with some errors.
Up my knowledge, which is admittedly limited in Astronomy, to plot “all the Stars in our galaxy” is undoubtedly impossible.
Hence, to determine the positions of the Stars is a very big issue that is out of human competence.
Now, do you realize and accept the value of Allah ‘ swear by the positions of the Stars.
The great issue of the positions of the Stars in the Quran is NEVER mentioned in the Bible.
We are in need of sciences and wisdom and intellectual people to determine precisely the positions of the Stars; although we have to admit that is out of human competence.
That is why, when ALLAH swears with the settings and positions of the Stars, He said:”And it is indeed a great swear if you know”

This means that if we know we would realize the value of Allah’ swear.

But who on the earth know the settings and positions of the Stars?

This mighty swear is for what?
If you admit that Allah’ swear is great and mighty, then I recommend you to read Surah 56: 75-81 to know what is the reason for Allah’ swear.

==============

The Bible,

Revelation 12:1-4 (New International Version)

The Woman and the Dragon

1A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.

2She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.

3Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads.

4His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.

——————————————–

The Quran,

Verse 14:33

Yusuf Ali: and he (Allah) has made subject to you the sun and the moon, both diligently pursuing their courses; and the night and the day has He (also) made subject to you.

Verse 41:37

Yusuf Ali: among his (Allah) signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun and the moon, but prostrate to Allah, who created them, if it is him ye wish to serve.

Verses 56:75-77

Pickthal: nay, I swear by the places of the stars -

Yusuf Ali: furthermore i call to witness the setting of the stars,-

Pickthal: and lo! That verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew -

Yusuf Ali: and that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,-

Pickthal: that (this) is indeed a noble Qur’an

Yusuf Ali: that this is indeed a Qur’an most honorable,

It is amazing that many individuals don’t believe that some major earth changing event on Dec 21 2012 will happen. When I realized this, I selected to find out why so many folk failed to believe. It is my conclusion that many of us have experienced this so called dooms day eventuality during the past and it never occurred. Almost all of the time the Doomsday events were put out to the public by fanatics that were only getting their information from a crazed Evangelist or a “want-to-be” Soothsayer . The truth is that there’s a multitude of information gathered by renowned scientists that have indicated that some event, little or enormous, minor or catastrophic, will happen. You can read about them also in the 12.21.2012 Planet X Codex.

First, the realignment of the Earth, Sun, and the Milky Way Universe on Dec 21 2012. In the subsequent 5 years the Earth, Sun, and the middle of the Milky Way Universe will realign after 26,000 years. This realignment will have some effect on Earth, but to what extent scientists can’t establish. There’s no written history of events that occurred 26,000 years back to confirm how extensive the outcome will be. The sole archeological find that scientists can use is the Mayan calendar, but the Mayan civilization wasn’t even in existence 26,000 ago so the accuracy of the calendar has not been determined. So be wary of what you listen to over the web, most of what you hear and see is only used to scare people. The facts are only this, the realignment of the big three and that civilization will continue to be since we are still hear from the last alignment.

30th 1983, astronomers found a new planet using the IRUS telescope. This planet is roughly the size of Juniper, has a particularly long orbit, and only shows itself each 3,500 to 3,600 years. This so called 10th Planet isn’t speculated nor has NASA analyst and astronomers around the globe failed to confirm its existence. This planet is confirmed and is of great concern to the presidencies around the world. It’ll have some impact on Earth and our existence but will not wipe out the human race. We are still here from the last time and we will be here the subsequent time.

Well now let me tell you about a book that gives you an unbiased report on Planet X and other Dec 21 2012 prophecies of the “end of time” as we know it!

The history of flight is the history of man’s dream to rise through the sky like a bird. Early tradition about flight and probably many early challenges involved fashioning wings out of birds’ feathers.

The narration about flying objects at the time of revelation of the Quran was myths, folklore and/or legends.

Bellerophon the Brave, captured Pegasus, a winged horse and took him to a fight with the triple headed monster, Chimera.

Daedalus made wings of wax and feathers and flew successfully from Crete to Naples.

Icarus tired to fly too high and flew very close to the sun. The wings of wax melted and Icarus fell to his death in the ocean.

King Kaj Kaoos affixed eagles to his throne and flew around his kingdom.

Alexander the Great attached four mythical wings animals, to a basket and flew around his kingdom.

Space Exploration in Sciences:

History of spaceflight

The practical proposal of space travel goes back to Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. His most prominent article, The Exploration of Cosmic Space by Means of Reaction Devices, was published in 1903, but this hypothetical work was not widely significant outside of Russia.

Spaceflight became an engineering prospect with the work of Robert H. Goddard’s article in 1919 of his paper ‘A Method of Reaching Extreme Altitudes’; where his relevance of the de Laval nozzle to liquid petroleum sky rockets gave adequate power that interplanetary voyage became possible.

In 1957 the Soviet Union launched Sputnik 1, which became the first synthetic satellite to orbit the Earth. The first human spaceflight was in 1961, in which Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin made one orbit around the Earth.

Sky rockets remain the only presently realistic means of reaching space.

A spaceflight is the persistent movement of a spacecraft into and through the outer space. Spaceflights principally use sophisticated rocket equipment for momentum driving force. A spaceflight sets in motion with a launch, which provides the initial power to overcome the force of gravity and boost the spacecraft from the surface of the Earth.

Spaceflight is an indispensable element of space Exploration. It is also essential for profitable uses of space, such as space tourism and the initiation of telecommunications satellites. Non-commercial uses of spaceflight include space observation, reconnaissance satellites, survey satellites and other earth inspection satellites e.g. for intelligence work and military purposes.

Space Exploration in Bible:

He spreads out the northern skies over empty space

Job 26:7

He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing.

By his breath the skies became fair

Job 26:13

By his breath the skies became fair; his hand pierced the gliding serpent.

He spreads out the skies, hard as a mirror of cast bronze

Job 37:18

Can you join him in spreading out the skies, hard as a mirror of cast bronze?

Job 37:21

Now no one can look at the sun, bright as it is in the skies after the wind has swept them clean.

The ancient skies

Psalm 68:33

To him who rides the ancient skies above, who thunders with mighty voice.

Space Exploration in Quran:

The Quran is the first book on earth which says that men with the sciences, power and authority could penetrate through the regions of skies.

In this age of technology, science, space, rockets, and information, that all these things were mentioned by the Quran, which challenged all mankind to know about, and which some of them have not been discovered yet. This challenge can best be summarized by the following verse:

Surah 55:33

O ye assembly of jinn and men! If ye have power to penetrate (all) regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate (them)! ye will never penetrate them save with (our) sanction. (Not without authority shall ye be able to pass!)

The translation given here needs some explanatory comment:

a) The word ‘if’ in Arabic is used for the achievable hypothesis and suggests the material possibility of a concrete realization.

b) Allah is addressing the jinn and human beings.

c) ‘To penetrate’ is the translation of the verb “nafada” to pass right through and come out on the other side of a body’ It therefore suggests a penetration and also an emergence at the other end into the regions in question.

d) The Power or authority is the translation of the word (sultan) there can be no doubt that this verse indicates the possibility that men will one day carry out ‘the invasion of space’. The Arabic word (sultan) means the power, authority, sciences and force. In this verse it means that you cannot penetrate unless by a giant force or power, which could be equal to the force of the gravity of earth, or another force that only Allah alone knows about. Gravity keeps the Earth in a uniform distance from the sun and other planets. Any change in this force could allow the earth to move freely in the universe, which will quickly lead to its destruction. There might be another gigantic force that we cannot penetrate or reach. This force is the speed we should move at in order to be able to penetrate through the skies. Modern science, Einstein’s Relativity Theory in particular, have shown that no matter what progress we make in the field of modern transportation, such as rockets, we would not be able to reach the speed needed to penetrate the universe, which happens to be the speed of light. Because of Einstein’s Theory, this is virtually impossible.

It should be emphasized that the Quran predicts both the penetration through the regions of the Heavens, and also the penetration through the Earth, i.e. the Exploration of its depths.

Here again, it is difficult not to be impressed, when comparing the text of the Quran to the data of modern sciences, by statements that simply cannot be attributed to the thought of a man who lived more than fourteen centuries ago.

Back to the main topic of my series of articles (1- 46); this is my question to you smart readers: “Is the Quran quoted from the Bible “?

There are many space disasters. Some of these disasters are avoidable and could be corrected. Other space disasters unfortunately are unavoidable.

Example of the unavoidable Space Shuttle Disaster:

The Space Shuttle Challenger disaster occurred in the United States in 1986. As an outcome of this disaster, the United States President Ronald Reagan appointed a special commission to investigate the accident The Rogers Commission offered NASA nine recommendations that were to be seriously considered before shuttle flights resumed.

In 2003, the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster occurred when the Shuttle disintegrated over Texas during its re-entry into the Earth’s atmosphere.

Space Shuttle Disaster in the Bible:

Nothing is mentioned about this topic in the Bible.

Space Shuttle Disaster in the Quran:

The Quran warns us about the unavoidable space disasters.

The Quran as we knew gives a conditioned prophecy for space travel saying that jinn and man would be able to pass through the regions of the heavens if they have power, authority and knowledge. Jinn and man have to thank Allah, their lord because He gave them countless favors.

Then the Quran tells us about the expected disasters waiting for Space shuttles.

In Space, any Space shuttle is expected to be hit by flames of fire and flash of Copper then the Astronauts in such Space shuttle will not be able to defend themselves.

Surah 55:33-35

SHAKIR: o assembly of the jinn and the men! if you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through; you cannot pass through but with authority

PICKTHAL: o company of jinn and men, if ye have power to penetrate (all) regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate (them)! ye will never penetrate them save with (our) sanction.

YUSUFALI: o ye assembly of jinn and men! if it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass!

SHAKIR: which then of the bounties of your lord will you deny?

PICKTHAL: which is it, of the favors of your lord that ye deny?

YUSUFALI: then which of the favors of your lord will ye deny?

SHAKIR: the flames of fire and smoke (Copper) will be sent on you two, then you will not be able to defend yourselves

PICKTHAL: there will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will not escape.

YUSUFALI: on you will be sent (o ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defense will ye have:

In respect to Jinn, they are invisible creatures that are able to flight in space.

Jinn used to steal a hearing in the Space.

There is a missile of flaming fire for who steals a hearing.

This missile of flaming fire is piercing.

Surah 72:9

SHAKIR: and that we used to sit in some of the sitting-places thereof to steal a hearing (in space), but he who would (try to) listen now would find a flame lying in wait for him:

PICKTHAL: and we used to sit on places (high in space) therein to listen. but he who listeneth now findeth a flame in wait for him;

YUSUFALI: ‘we used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations (in space), to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush.

Surah 15:18

SHAKIR: but he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame

PICKTHAL: save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue.

YUSUFALI: but any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see).

Surah 37:10

SHAKIR: except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame

PICKTHAL: save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame.

YUSUFALI: except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness.

NASA may need to put the Quranic warning about the unavoidable space disasters into consideration. Using Silver and Gold in manufacturing the Spaceship will certainly help as the Quran proposes.

Also, the choice of the name of the Space shuttle is very important.

I do not know why NASA named the shuttle “Challenger”

Challenging who?

Challenging Allah?

Challenging the Lord?

Challenging the nature?

Challenging the Space?

Challenging the universe?

Challenging what?

However, if the Western people are affectionate with challenging, it might be productive to remind them by the two Quranic challenges that Allah challenges the entire human with. One of these challenges is Linguistic and the other is Biological.

The first challenge is a Linguistic Challenge:

This Linguistic Challenge is addressed to all the jinn and man. This Linguistic Challenge dated more than 1400 years and jinn and mankind have nothing yet to do with it.

Surah 17:88

SHAKIR: say: if men and jinn should combine together to bring the like of this quran, they could not bring the like of it, though some of them were aiders of others

PICKTHAL: say: verily, though mankind and the jinn should assemble to produce the like of this qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof though they were helpers one of another.

YUSUFALI: say: “if the whole of mankind and jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.

The Biological Challenge:

This challenge is addressed to the entire human.

Can mankind create a fly?

Surah 22:73-74

SHAKIR: o people! a parable is set forth, therefore listen to it: surely those whom you call upon besides Allah cannot create fly, though they should all gather for it, and should the fly snatch away anything from them, they could not take it back from i weak are the invoker and the invoked

PICKTHAL: o mankind! a similitude is coined, so pay ye heed to it: lo! those on whom ye call beside Allah will never create a fly though they combine together for the purpose. and if the fly took something from them, they could not rescue it from it. so weak are (both) the seeker and the sought!

YUSUFALI: o men! here is a parable set forth! Listen to it! those on whom, besides Allah, ye call, cannot create (even) a fly, if they all met together for the purpose! and if the fly should snatch away anything from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. Feeble are those who petition and those whom they petition!

SHAKIR: they have not estimated Allah with the estimation that is due to him; most surely Allah is strong, mighty

PICKTHAL: they measure not Allah his rightful measure. lo! Allah is strong, almighty.

YUSUFALI: no just estimate have they made of Allah: for Allah is he who is strong and able to carry out his will.

Back to the main topic of my series of articles (1- 49); this is my question to you smart readers: “Is the Quran quoted from the Bible “? And which book preceded the modern Sciences?
