This is literally about the 15th time this question has been posted since I joined Yahoo only last month. No the world will not end, don’t listen to the rubbish you hear from the media, it’s to do with the end of Mayan calender or something.

Quite possibly.

My guess is that it will be caused by a collision between peak oil and hyperinflation, leading to global famine and war.

It is just a coincidence that these events will coincide with the supposed predictions based upon ancient calendars.
