of the inventors of the LEM (Lunar Exploration Module). Can anybody provide me with the names of the Engineers who invented the LEM? I can’t remember myself after all these years and I am trying to teach my kid astronomy through the use of a brand new telescope. Any additional advice on the latter is appreciated.

The only answer I could find was a man named Leroy Randle Grumman. Your teacher may have helped to build it, but I’m not sure about designing it- credit seems to be Grumman’s alone.

Nobody really invented the LM. It was teams of engineers working at several different companies which designed all the various systems which went in to the Module. Grumman was the main contractor so you might look at this http://www.ehartwell.com/LM//index.htm
