The secret of Anubis
The ancient Egyptians view of astronomy is the birthstone to our modern view upon astrology. Ancient Greece was the last culture, which was able to understand the forgotten language of the great pharaohs. Anubis is said to be the Egyptian god of the dead, but there might be more to his character. The most popular scenes of Anubis depict a man wearing an Anubis mask, and performing the mummification rituals for the deceased.
The actual fact about Anubis is that he was more important than Osiris, but this was in even more ancient times. In the pyramid texts (which date to around 2900 B.C ) he is first mentioned as being “First of the Westerners”. The concept of ‘westerners’ are not like we would think of today (namely being the westerner people). When the ancient spoke of the ‘west’ they mostly were referring to the land of the dead (the underworld/ the beyond).
First Secret Revealed:
Whenever you see an ‘Anubis-Shrine’, it literally means the word “Secret”.
Inside the Famous Tutankhamon’s tomb was found; a beautiful intact ‘Anubis-Shrine’. When the shine was first opened, four small and one big chamber was revealed. These chambers seemed to contain some odd object, which professors believe to be objects that belong to the Mummification ritual.
