so many people are about this 23 number meaning the world will end in 2013 and all bad things happen on 23 and stuff i had to listen to a friend once go on and on about this subject and i was just like wow youre dumb and if i’m wrong and it does it wont matter bc i’ll be dead and he cant tell he told me so. But i think it’s just a load of crock.

nobody knows what is going to happen..but if the governments know the world will end, they won’t warn us. NASA predicts “amazing galactic activity.” for the first time in 26,000 years the milky way will be perfectly aligned with the earth and sun. something is going to happen. it may be nothing serious..but most likely it will be. there are all sorts of predictions…interference with our gravitational field causing all of our electricity and computers to shut down. …..a meteor……shifting of the earth on it’s axis, or a pole shift possibly causing the oceans to flow over covering the land……solar flares/storms. then of course the idea of the sun burning out. there is all sorts of perdictions of what is to come but nobody really knows. and the people that may know dont want you to.

Retards. This happened in the 60′s, It happened a few years ago, The world should end in 2012, in 2060, etc. It should not end for a while, because looking at history, it should have ended at least 10 times.

for earth. the scary part about their observation is that they are 99.999% right on their predictions. Although the chances (.1%) are likely to happen. But I will say this the world will getfurther worse than t already is.

In 2012, the collective naivete of believers, skepticism of doubters, and anxious anticipation of everyone else will collapse into a black hole that will destroy the world.

Some very unreliable people came up with the rather silly ideas about 2012, which include:

    1) the world ending… no reason given (Mayans, from Jose Arguelles, who claims to be a reincarnated priest)

    2) most of the world being destroyed, some enslaved (Nibiru, Zech Stitchin, who read this off a Sumerian toilet paper roll… well, not really, but the guy can’t read the language, so don’t tell him)

    3) most of the world being destroyed, except a few that hitchhike with aliens (Planet X, Nancy Lieder, who frequently has conversations with the aliens, usually in dreams, although they once sent her a signal in a Starburst candy… no, I am NOT making that up)

    4) the Earth goes poof, due to it crossing a equator of the Milky Way (no, I don’t get this one, either)

    5) the Earth goes poof, due to the Sun lining up with the center of the Milky Way (I am a complete blank on how this works, too)

    6) the Earth goes poof, due to the Sun’s “solar maximum” which although coming in early 2013, will somehow be early and… well… really big. (I think this one can be blamed on Michio Kaku, who really should know better than to predict the Sun TEN years early, now the predictions say “less than average” for 2012-3)

    7) the Earth will be eaten by a Giant Space Squid. (this is mine, it is at least as likely as most, as I am as unreliable as most)

Read this site for a nice, quiet, rational explanation, with absolutely no Flying Saucers or ads selling psychotic drugs.

No. There will be no year 2012.

    ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE:

Jesus Christ is returning on May 21, 2011
The end of the world is October 21, 2011

Repent everyone. Cry to God for His mercy.
His wrath is soon to poured out upon the earth.

    I don’t believe so.

A lot of people on the History Channel are predicting that, THE WORLD WILL END, THE WORLD WILL END!!! Well, I know you all are scared. The only person that knows what will happen is God. The world will end sometime, but I don’t think it will happen in our lifetime. I mean, look at all the predictions they made! Hardly any of them came true, so we shouldn’t be TO worried. So, I’m going to have to say no, but I can possibly be wrong.

the mayans, indians, and nostradumas predicted destruction on the year 2012.the real reason they are saying that there is going to be earthquakes and hurricanes and all that is because they are trying to actually scare us.its really us that is causing the apocalypse. with the economy with the money, all the wars, people killing each other, and the pollution.the mayans, indians, and nostradomus are really trying to tel us is that its really up to us.its are choice to say if we are going to continue to be the same, or are we goin to change so that we can keep on living.12/21/2012,that date was said especifacally to mark the date that the world change into better people.the indians said there was 5 lives 4 that they predictedd and already happened. its up to us to decide how were going to live the fifth life. thats wats actually going to happen on 2012. its all up to us. thanks for reading!!!

Which people are being retards, the one’s that predict that something catastrophic might happen? If you want to go that route then their opposites, the people who deny it, are just as ‘retarted.’ The truth is that no one knows what might happen, but it is safe to assume that anything could happen.

However, Consider this piece regarding Numerology: 5 represents change, and it represents evolving humanity striving towards its destiny. If 2012 were real then it would definitely represent a significant change.

    2012: 2+0+1+2= 5 (Change)

every body love mysticism. the world will not end as it did not end in the year 2000 and in the middle ages. god did not give this knowledge to anybody nor he asked any of us to even think of it.

The 2012 World End Phenomina arises from three locations, the biblical referances to the Second Coming found in Revelations, the Maya Calander and various scientific and doomsday media sources.

Firstly, the biblical referances in the bible according to the signs of the apolcopse do refer to the second coming happening sometime in the generation that saw the rise of Isreal as a nation (1950s). That said, we can expect the end of the world biblically within the next fifty years if this is what it was refering to; of course the bible is vauge on many of the things in revelations and for this reason people have been tryng to predict the end of the world since the middle ages and we still exist.

Secondly, the Maya calander is the primary soure of the 2012 date, as the Maya were excellent astromomers, and their Calander is circular in design. As such, every 52 years it moves on to a new decimal spot and continues counting. The decimals are designed to relapse and/or repeat every 4000 something years. In other words, it takes ~4000 years to begin and end a cycle of the calander.

Now, the Maya also believed that they began their Calander on the day of creation (5988 BC [Before Christ]) and believed the world would end with the end of the Calander; supporting their mysthicism views. It also served Maya leaders to justify the Calander since it being unable to count indefinatly without repeating would be irelivant if peasents gave into the ideological view that the world would end before they would need to begin a new cycle of the Maya Long Count Calander.

Finally, science (Nasa – http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2006/10mar_stormwarning.htm) and other institutions HAVE identified that in the year 2012 there will be an unpredicdented solar occurance or the “Solar-Peak”. However, with estimates, will only paralel the previous most-extreame “Solar-Peak” which occured in the 1950s. And, we are still here, and as always, the solar system and our ecosystem on earth endures.

Combined, Biblical, Mysticisms, and the Scientific community have basically pooled their ideological beliefs to predict the end of the world in the year 2012. However, as stated, the Maya were excellent observers of the skies, and created their calander based on the predictable patterns of the skies and SUN. As such, they likely observed these “Solar-Peaks” (Solar Maximum) and Solar Minimums, so science and mysticism merely converge on the predictable nature of our solar system and rotation of the earth. As for biblical dates, there is nothing in the bible to specifiy 2012, only that the end will come in the generation that saw the Kingdom of Isreal become a nation again; although for all we know this could refer to a second formation long in the future after Iseal falls once more; or something far mroe complex that nobody has foreseen in the future.

In short, as stated by many other people, I will burrow their analogy, the 2012 end of the world is merely a hoax on paralel with the Y2K bug which would supposidly whipe out all technology. Solar flares do occur and will continue to occur long after humans cease to exist, and the Maya based their Calander on the notion that the “Sun God” a large bird (forget how to spell) had given birth to their race and would end the world when their race ceases to exist. As such, I would not be overly concerned by this event; although, for those who wish to search into this issue in more complexity. Please research “The Maya Long Count Calander” (Not they had two that overlaped, you want to look at the Long Count); “The Second Coming in Revelations”; and “Solar Continum of Minimums and Maximums”.

Hope that this helped, tired of seeing these posts so figured I would write a longer answer and hopefully put an end to this hoax. (Will not ever happen with that irritating commercial floating around trying to make a quick buck off of another global hysteria that is no worse than anything we have seen in the past). Farewell!
