What is supposed to happen at the end of the world (2012)?
Why do people say the world is going to end in 2012? i know it’s because of the myans or incas calendar. but couldnt it just be lost or they felt like stopping. in the movie 2012 they show a bunch or earthquakes and stuff, and lately theres been a alot of earthquakes and natural disasters happening (haiti earthquake, ireland volcano, global warming, another earthquake somewhere.) what is supposed to happen?

No, the hoax about the world ending in 2012 has NOTHING to do with any ancienct calendar.

No, there are not a lot of earthquakes happening – earthquakes occur on Earth EVERY DAY, and the average number of major earthquakes per year hasn’t changed much since they have been keeping records. This year is no different – what is different is instant news coverage and media “hype” covering them.
None of this has anything to do with the hoax about 2012 – that hoax was started by some nutjobs in 2003 (I am surprised some people still don’t get that).
The world will NOT end in 2012. The Mayan calendar ends there, and their beliefs state that the earth god and the sun god will have a battle and the Earth will be destroyed. ’2012′ is a work of fiction based on warped myths of the Mayan calendar a coming apocalypse. The word ‘apocalypse’ technically doesn’t mean the end of the world, but the end of the world as we know it. December 21, 2012 is the day that the sun will be directly aligned with out galaxy, the Milky Way. I’ve heard rumors about the Age of Aquarius starting in 2012, but I can’t confirm that it’s true. It is also said that the Age of Aquarius will bring ‘great change.’ There are also rumors that it will bring about the apocalypse, or great change to the world as we know it. The end of the world will begin with a world wide earthquake larger than any known before.
Next will be 5 months of unbelievable suffering and finally the end will be when the entire universe burns from the fire of God’s breath.

Well Jaime M, The bible says no man will know the end date so I highly don’t believe that it is going to end on that day; 12/12/12. But all I know is that God will take his people and the others will pay for their unforgiven sins.
